This policy covers the PriceVero Chrome extension and this website. It describes what the extension actually reads and sends, field by field, rather than restating a template. If it and the extension's behaviour ever disagree, the extension is the bug and we want to hear about it.
Who holds your data
PriceVero Pte Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in Singapore, is the organisation responsible for the personal data described here. Our data protection officer can be reached at support@pricevero.com, which is also the address for any question, access or correction request, or complaint under the Personal Data Protection Act. We answer within 30 days.
Where the extension runs
The extension activates only on individual listing pages on four portals. These are the exact URL patterns it is registered for, and it cannot run anywhere else:

It does not run on search results, on portal home pages, or on any other site. It has no access to your other tabs, your browsing history, or your bookmarks.
What it reads on a listing page
- The listing's own structured data — project name, unit size, asking price, tenure, address. The same information already displayed on the page.
- The agent's description text, to detect whether a tenancy is mentioned and at what rent.
What is sent to us, exactly
When a rating is requested, these fields and no others are transmitted:

The listing's description text is never transmitted. Tenancy wording is interpreted inside your own browser; only a rent number can leave it, and only when the listing published one. The listing URL is not sent either.
What is stored in your browser
Your sign-in session and your device identifier, in the browser's own extension storage. Neither is shared with any third party.
Accounts and sign-in
An account is required. Sign-in is handled by Amazon Cognito, and we store your email address and subscription status in order to authenticate you and to manage your plan. If you sign in with Google, we receive only the name and email Google releases for authentication — we do not access anything else in your Google account.
What we log when a rating is shown
We record the rating we served, its inputs, and the time we served it. This is how we check our own accuracy against what a unit eventually sold for. It is tied to your account so we can show you your own history, which is the next section.
Your account’s three lists
Signed in, Your account shows three things, and only these three:
- Reports you made — kept 90 days. The project, the size or link you asked about, and the date. Not the report itself: re-opening one generates it again from today’s record, because the evidence moves.
- Recently rated — kept 30 days, then forgotten. Which project you rated and when. Never the price you typed, and never the rating itself.
- Saved projects — kept until you remove them, because you put them there. The project and your own note on it, if you write one.
None of it is shared, sold, or used for anything but showing it back to you, and none of it comes from anywhere except an action you took while signed in. Your account carries a Clear my activity control that removes all three immediately.
Report branding, if you set it up
Agents can put their own name, agency, CEA registration number, contact and photo on the branded reports they generate. If you fill that in under Report branding, we store exactly those five things against your account, so they follow your sign-in instead of living in one browser.
They exist for one purpose: printing them on the reports you generate. They are never part of a rating, never shown to anyone you do not send a report to, and never given to a third party. Report branding carries a Remove my branding control that deletes all five, from the browser and from your account, immediately.
Price alerts, if you create one
On a paid plan you can ask us to email you when a new listing appears in a project you name — optionally only at a size you choose, or only at or below a price or psf you set. For each alert we keep the project, those conditions, when you created it, and when we last emailed you about it. We also keep a short list of the listings we have already told you about, so you are not told twice; it is discarded after two weeks.
Alerts are yours until you delete them, because you typed them. Each one has a Delete control on Your account, which stops the emails immediately. We never put the asking price, the psf or the rating in an alert email: it names the project, your own condition, and a link to the listing.
Emails we send you
Four kinds, and no others:
- Confirming your address when you create an account, and a code if you ask to reset your password or change your email address. These are part of signing in and cannot be turned off.
- One heads-up a month if you reach 80% of a monthly allowance, so a rating you need is not the one that runs out. At most one per allowance per month, and you can switch it off under Your account.
- A price alert, if you created one, when a listing matching it appears. Only on a paid plan, only for alerts you set up yourself, and switched off with the same control — or by deleting the alert.
- A reply, if you write to us.
We do not send a newsletter, product announcements or marketing email, and there is no list to be added to. Our emails carry no images, no tracking pixel and no link to any third party, so we cannot tell whether you opened one. They never contain a rating, a score, a band, or any price of ours — the only figure an email can carry is one you typed into our own form yourself, and only so you can tell which of your alerts fired.
Delivery is handled by Amazon Simple Email Service, in the same account and region as the rest of this service. Your address is not given to any other mail provider.
How we measure the product
We count how PriceVero is used, so that we can improve it: which pages are opened, which of the rating doors people use, where a flow is abandoned, how often a feature is reached. Today those counts are produced on our own servers from records we already hold, and no analytics script runs on this site.
We may add an analytics tool to do this properly, including a third-party one such as Google Analytics. If we do, all of the following apply, and we will name the provider on this page before it goes live:
- It runs on this website only — never inside the extension, which makes no network call other than the rating request described above.
- It is used only to understand how the product is used and to improve it. Never for advertising, never to build a profile of you, and never to sell, rent or trade your data.
- The provider acts on our instructions as a processor. It does not get to use what it sees for its own purposes.
- It never receives a rating we served you, a price you typed, or which specific property you asked about.
Who else sees your data
Nobody, outside the suppliers that run this service for us. Sign-in is Amazon Cognito, email delivery is Amazon Simple Email Service, and hosting and storage are Amazon Web Services — all in one account and region, all under contract, all processing data only on our instructions and only to deliver PriceVero to you. They may not use it for their own purposes. If we add an analytics provider, it joins that list on the same terms and is named above.
Beyond that we disclose personal data only where the law requires it. We are not GST- registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Card payments are handled by Airwallex, a licensed payment provider, and by them alone. When you pay, the card form on our checkout page is served by Airwallex inside their own frame: your card number, expiry and security code go straight to them and never reach PriceVero, our servers or our logs. We hold only what a receipt needs — the plan, the amount, the date, and the last four digits of the card so you can tell which one is on file. We never see or store the full number, and we could not charge your card outside the plan you agreed to even if we wanted to. Airwallex processes your payment under its own privacy policy as well as our contract with it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
- We do not track your browsing outside the four listing-page patterns above.
- We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts in the extension, and we run no advertising or ad-tracking scripts on this site.
- We do not load fonts, images or any other asset from a third party on this site — with one exception, on one page: the checkout page loads the payment form from Airwallex, because a card form we hosted ourselves is exactly what we are trying to avoid. No other page loads anything from anyone else.
Deleting your data
Email support@pricevero.com and we will delete your account, your email address and your rating history. There is no automated self-service deletion for an account yet, and we would rather say so than imply there is. Two things you can delete yourself, on the spot, without asking us: Report branding and, on Your account, the three activity lists and any price alerts you have created.
